Welcome to NESTS for Educators

As an educator, prioritizing your needs can feel like one more thing on an already full plate. To make it manageable and meaningful, keep these tips in mind as you explore the resources the NESTS team has put together just for you:

🍃 Start Small & Simple – Instead of overhauling your routine, begin with one small habit (e.g., deep breathing before class, a 5-minute walk at lunch).

🍃 Quality Over Quantity – You don’t need an elaborate self-care plan. Find what truly restores you—whether it’s sleep, movement, or quiet time.

🍃 Make It Sustainable – Choose practices that fit into your life long-term rather than quick fixes that add stress.

🍃 Set Boundaries – Protect your personal time by saying no when needed, setting work-life limits, and giving yourself permission to rest.

🍃 Celebrate Small Wins – Acknowledge every step, no matter how small. Small moments of self-care add up to big changes over time.

🍃 Stay Flexible – Self-care isn’t about perfection. Adjust as needed and allow yourself grace on tough days.

Most importantly, we hope you enjoy the resources we've provided and find what truly supports and nourishes you!
